The Professional Development and Training Centre, a division of the Chamber of Commerce, organises several management and supervisory courses in addition to a host of others for its members each month.
Recently, 17 Chamber members took a course in Leadership Development led by facilitator Rod Waddell. This course teaches skills to increase the effectiveness of managers and supervisors in all industries with techniques that can get desired results from the people in your organisation.
Participants learned how to identify high impact motivators, analyze performance issues, plan and organise workload, develop measurable performance targets, and give and receive feedback amongst others.
Members can take advantage of the Professional Development and Training Centre 1- day courses for $125 or two-day courses forI$200. Non members are also welcomed and invited to participate.

• Effective Time Management – 21 May
• Driving Performance – 27 May
