NCVO appeal

Residents at the NCVO’s Nadine Andreas Foster Home are hoping to spend a week’s vacation in Cuba this summer.

After a year of Spanish tuition from Ms. Yolanda, a volunteer, the children are hopeful of honing their newly acquired Spanish oral skills in a perfect location, whilst at the same time exploring that beautiful island.

The cost of the summer trip for residents and staff is CI$10-12,000 and the NCVO is appealing to sponsors to make this vacation dream come true.

The Nadine Andreas Foster Home is run by the NCVO and caters for up to 10 Caymanian children, boys and girls, who are placed at the home because they are in need of care and protection.

Whilst all the children attend local schools, unfortunately some of our children have no immediate family members and, for some, this vacation will be the only time of the year they will spend away from the home.
