Two women were arrested on suspicion of selling illegal lottery tickets over the weekend in Grand Cayman.
The 46 and 49 year olds were arrested on Saturday following a police operation at McRuss Grocery store in Prospect. One of the women was also arrested on suspicion of using a place as a common gaming house.
The pair was released on police bail pending further investigations.
The operation was conducted by George Town officers and the hot-spot team. The team is made up of regular and special constables and is tasked with tackling crime in the George Town area.
