The Cayman Islands Olympic Fundraising Committee has received its first sponsorship in support of their fundraising drive for the 2012 Olympic Games.
Cayman National is on board again as a Silver Sponsor.
Chair of the Fundraising Committee, Betty Baraud said: ‘I am delighted with the generous support of Cayman National in assisting us to kick-off our first Fundraiser which is the sale of specially designed 2009 calendars.’
The calendars will go on sale within the next few weeks and will give an insight into the experiences of our four local athletes whilst participating in the Beijing Olympic Games.
‘The excitement and pride in the performance of our Cayman athletes at the recent Beijing Olympic Games is still etched in our minds,’ said Ormond Williams, Cayman National’s Bank President.
‘As an ongoing supporter of the local Olympic Committee, we are indeed pleased to provide the ‘jump start’ to the fundraising efforts in support of those who will be our 2012 delegation in London England,’ he said.
