Cayman’s culture

I, too, feel that the name change is not a wise decision.

I do not see why Pirates Week cannot be combined as a particular feature within Heritage Week.

Pirates Week is a long standing tradition in Cayman and hence, a part of Cayman culture. I also feel it is a huge promotional event for Cayman that locals and tourists look forward to every year.

There are thousands of ‘Heritage Week’ events throughout the world, but only a handful of ‘Pirates Week’ venues. This is something uniquely Cayman and I do not agree with the name change.
