Don’t mess with Yenny Polanco if you go to the bodybuilding show at the Lions Centre tomorrow.

Not only is she a multi-title bodybuilding champion and fitness instructor, she is also a former Golden Gloves boxing champ!
So make sure you don’t upset American Yenny at the Universe Muscle Classic, which starts with pre-judging at 10am with the finals starting at 7pm.
The girl who packs a mean punch as well as a fabulous, totally natural physique, said: ‘I’m originally from the Dominican Republic. I arrived in the United States when I was 12 and did not speak one word of English.
‘It was very difficult for me at first. But I worked hard and eventually became a cosmetologist, and opened my own business.
‘I also was a Golden Gloves boxing champ. I’ve always liked competing and working out. Now I’m a Pro Figure and pro Fitness Competitor. For people who don’t know, Figure is a softer version of bodybuilding.
‘Fitness requires a dance routine which includes: strength, flexibility, endurance, stamina, stage presence, poise, and being able to do public speaking.
‘I’ve participated in 42 shows since May 2005, winning or placing in the top 3 in all of Figure. I made it to Ms Fitness World in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
‘I’m looking forward to competing in the IFPA in Cayman and cannot wait to enjoy my time in such a beautiful place!
‘I am happy to be part of such a great national event and Pro show and to be doing something that is healthy and that inspires others in so many ways.’
