Hurley’s
Marketplace recently celebrated its 11th anniversary by staging a number of
giveaways.
The
supermarket, which normally has a 10-per cent customer appreciation discount on
Wednesdays, handed out thousands of dollars of giveaways to their customers.
Hurley’s
enjoyed having a number of sponsors support the various prizes. The randomly
selected winners took home a number of products.
Winners of
bicycles included Beverley Ramsay, Cheryl Pokoradi, Rose Marie Saunders and Elizabeth
Ramkissoon.
Winners of
washing machines included Anson Robinson, and Devon McLaughlin .
Dryers were
won by Merrell McCann and K.I. Carrig, who donated it to Children and Family Services.
Nekita Williams won a
George Foreman domed grill.
Ernie Grant won a
10-piece non-sticking cooking set; Jason Brown won an Igloo Cooler; Javon Kelly
won a LG home theatre system; Warren Keens one a BlackBerry 8900 Javeline; and
Maxine Everson won a 32-inch plasma flat screen TV.
