As a long time visitor to beautiful Cayman, I’ve always been concerned about the irresponsible and careless ways some motorists drive.
Unless strong measures are adopted to curb and reduce the high rate of traffic fatalities, many more serious accidents will occur.
I fully endorse the new driving regulations that are being planned to effectively address this totally unacceptable situation on the Island’s busy streets.
It is hoped that those motorists who seem to take pleasure in driving irresponsibly, and indeed illegally, will think and take note.
Congratulations to Mr. McLean and the Cabinet for taking the necessary steps.
