I happen to know Cydonie from way back when she was a little girl.
Her grandmother and my grandmother where best friends and we all lived at the same address.
She was a wonderful, wonderful child growing up. She was always quick!
We always laughed about how she was so afraid of a spanking that her mother could not even catch the dust of her heels when she got going.
But seriously I am proud of her achievements and her dedication to the Cayman Islands.

I am pleased that she has kept a strong sense of self and also a great community spirit.
As a Jamaican myself I am proud of her support of the wonderful people she has grown to represent in that region. My family and I are proud of her outstanding achievements.
