A 43-year old man has been arrested after police found drugs and a firearm in searches of his home and car.
Officers recovered a quantity of suspected cocaine in the George Town house and ganja in the man’s car.
They also seized a handgun and ammunition found in the house search.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession of possession of an unlicensed firearm, drug possession and possession of ganja with intent to supply.
Police said the man was in custody while investigations continued.
