Concerning Sad ode to the Seaview, this is surely a sad day. I lived down in Cayman from 1995-1999.
It was our Sunday evening hang-out. We would walk in and Gerrald would have our beers open and waiting on the bar for us.
To know that it is now gone saddens me, but this is not a shock because Cayman cares more about money and tourists then the people that contribute to the Island day in and day out.
It is a shame that the Island has once again shown that the locals who represent the Island to millions of people that come there, are not important.
