The Miami Herald is reporting that a suspicious bag has prompted the evacuation of portions of Miami International Airport this afternoon.
The area between Concourse F and G has been evacuated while a police bomb squad arrives to investigate, an airport spokesman said.
Authorities noticed the bag at a screening checkpoint about noon.
No major delays have been reported. But officials stressed that passengers on their way to the airport should call their airlines to check for delays.
