The rules for the auction are as follows:
• The 41st Anniversary Classic Car Auction is an open, descending auction to be published in the Caymanian Compass and www.caycompass.com .
• The car is a 2006 Renault Megane convertible, a description and picture of which is published today in the Caymanian Compass and on www.caycompass.com.
• CaymanFreePress will start the auction on Friday 6 October 2006 by publishing in the Caymanian Compass and www.caycompass.com the retail price of the car.
• Each subsequent daily edition of the Caymanian Compass and www.caycompass.com will publish a descending price of the car, which descending amounts will be in staggered increments.

• The process will continue until a bidder presents himself to the offices of CaymanFreePress between the office hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm, or by telephone confirmation to 526 9007, Monday to Friday, with a valid form of payment equating to the latest published price of the car.
• Cash, personal or bank cheques or signed bank loan agreements will be accepted by CaymanFreePress as valid forms of payment.
• All proceeds of the auction will be paid by CaymanFreePress equally to The Pines Nursing Home and Hospice Care.
• The auction is open to any person 18 years of age or over.
• CaymanFreePress makes no representations or warranties and there are no conditions or any kind, express or implied, with respect to the car offered through this auction.
• CaymanFreePress reserves the right to modify the auction parameters at anytime without notice.
• The car can be inspected at the showroom of EuroCar, the Renault dealerships on Shedden Road, George Town
