Doctors, learn to write

Aren’t we lucky to have such nice hospitals in Grand Cayman?

And the doctors and nurses are the best.

But (there’s always a but, isn’t there?) when a doctor’s prescription reaches the pharmacy, it doesn’t seem reasonable that it should have to be passed around so that everyone can take a guess at what it says.

As well educated as the doctors are, why can’t they write?

It would seem that somewhere in their education there would be a course in how to write legibly.

This has been a joke for as long as I can remember.

But, I doubt if it would be funny if you got the wrong medication.

Thank goodness the pharmacists know what’s not on the prescription.

Come on now, doctors, this is serious.
