Scholars International came out on top as the 2005 Master’s League Champions with 11 points over Boca’s 10. This team which has dominated the men’s and women’s senior league awards podium over the past decade and just recently copped the Under 23 League title, have now proved that their over 35 players are also to be regarded as highly talented and worthy of championship status.
Though Boca and Scholars won, lost and drew the same number of matches Scholars gained the upper hand on penalties. Teams that were drawn on results at the end of normal play in a Master’s League game were both awarded one point. However, since all matches had to have a winner the games were decided by penalties. The winners were awarded an additional point for their efforts.
