Filipino stars pace hurlers

Filipinos are a big part of the local darts scene and continue to show they are dominant players.

The latest proof of that came last Friday at the weekly blind draw competition at the Grand Caymanian resort. Established thrower Randy Cruz would partner with countryman Ronilo Tiempo to claim first place. In second place was Rodan Asuncion, who teamed up with Cayman Islands Darts Association president Paul Anglin (who claimed the inaugural blind draw event alongside Cliff Weeks).

In all 30 players came out and were split into 15 teams. The weekly competition is slated for this Friday at the resort.
