A local football club is putting on a social youth league this fall.
Academy Sports Club will stage its inaugural Junior Football League for the next few weeks. The first round of games take place this Saturday, 24 September at the Academy training grounds on Outpost Road in George Town.
Matches are aimed at boys and girls ages 5-7 who want to play in a fun setting. Teams will be six-a-side with six games taking place every Saturday morning starting from 9am. The league is slated to end 29 October.
Uniforms, water bottles and medals will be handed out to all participants. There is a fee of $100 per child.
