After a solid 2010 campaign, Archies are set for more dominoes glory this season.
The George Town team earned a good victory last Sunday in the Cayman Islands Domino Association 2011-2012 national domino league. The green and red warriors beat team DLK by 13 points at DLK Bar on Dump Road.
The captain of Archies said that it was very difficult to choose two star players from his team as the entire squad were all stars as they all did very well. Meanwhile DLK were guided by Michael Stewart and his partner Tyree Hernandez.
League matches continue on Sunday, 20 November after the start of Pirates Week this weekend. Island All-Stars will play against East End Mystical Youth at Mango Tree while Sea Inn Domino Team will play against DLK at Sea Inn Bar.
All-Stars are coming off a 13-point win over Singh’s Roti Shop earlier this month (it was initially reported as a Roti win by mistake).
