The Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Central has provided funds
to send Junior Achievement award winners to the Next Generation Leaders Forum
in Canada from 6-12 August.
The forum is an international youth conference for JA
Company Programme participants. It provides youth with the business skills
required for them to lead successful organisations of the future. JA award
winners are chosen based on their high potential as leaders in business and
society.
The seven delegates going to this year’s forum are able to
attend in large part because of a generous donation from the Rotary Club of
Grand Cayman Central.
For more information about Junior Achievement Cayman
Islands, contact Teresa Owen-Foster, programme director at [email protected] or
949-4306. Junior Achievement relies solely upon volunteer Advisors to assist in
the presentation of their programmes. Each year the organisation seeks new
volunteers and urges people to consider making a difference in the education of
our youth.
