The Cayman Islands Bodybuilding and Figure Classic Best of the Best show at King’s Sports Centre last week was a great success.
The organisation is trying to target older bodybuilders and encourage new enthusiasts to compete, females as well as males, and to start living a healthier lifestyle.
“We are not about bodybuilding only, we want to target general fitness some one who is in shape or some one who is overweight and want to set a goal for his or herself and think they want to take part in the event can do so,” said main organiser Hugh Cotterell who at 52 was in fantastic shape and won the Men’s Open Class.
“Next year we are looking for teenager bodybuilders who want to compete, also having a men’s fitness category for those who just have a nice beach body. This year we had Miss Bikini and this category is a also a beach look, no hard work.”
