Police are investigating a knife attack on a woman at a residence in West Bay Sunday afternoon.
Police said the male attacker was known to the victim.
Emergency services were dispatched to the address just before 1:45 p.m. Sunday following a report to 9-1-1 of a serious assault.
The attacker left the location before police arrived.
The woman was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening-injuries.
