The Heineken Happy Hour has proven to be a big success with Cayman audiences since it officially started on 1 April.
Every Wednesday and Friday, local musicians have performed live on the Cayman Compass Facebook page from 5-6pm, bringing some much-needed entertainment to the community.

Sponsored by Heineken, it also allows performers to earn money at a time when work for them is non-existent. Each act is given $100 by Heineken, with the additional ability to be tipped by the public through www.eventpro.ky.
Many musicians miss playing in front of an audience, and although social distancing keeps them physically separated from their fans, this initiative gives them the opportunity to interact with anyone watching their show via the comments section.

So far, Sea N’ B; Michael Lemay and Olujimi La Pierre; DannyLoops; and Nathan Barnett Herrera and Elina Zavala have been part of the lineup. This week, Beneil Miller will be playing on Wednesday and Little Magic takes to the microphone on Friday.
Tune into www.facebook.com/caycompass on Wednesday and Friday at 5pm to enjoy some live music and support local musicians by making a donation on www.eventpro.ky. All money raised goes directly to the performers.
