Eight young ladies have signed up to compete in the Miss Cayman Islands Universe pageant this year, being held on 6 August at the Westin.
The contestants are already well into their training schedule, and one of the pivotal stops on the way to the crown is the sashing ceremony, happening Saturday, 18 June at Grand Old House at 6:30pm.
The event is free to attend and gives the public a chance to get to interact with the women and cheer on their favourites.
There will be a cash bar and those wishing to purchase their tickets in advance for the pageant will have the opportunity to do so at the event.
