Caymanian golfer Justin Hastings won the inaugural Grant Thornton Golf Summer Series on Sunday, 12 June, at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club.
Competing against top amateur and professional golfers in the 54-hole event, Hastings, 18, shot scores of 74, 71 and 73, for a total of 218 over two days.
“The first event was a great start, and huge congratulations to Justin on a well-deserved win. We look forward to the upcoming events,” said Greg O’Driscoll, head of Asset Management and Business Development at Grant Thornton.
The next event on the Cayman Islands Golf Association calendar is scheduled for, 2-3 July, at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club.
