Pageant season is definitely in the air.

Miss Cayman Islands Universe was 6 Aug., and now the Miss Teen contestants are getting ready to introduce themselves to the island via the highways and byways.

On Saturday, 13 Aug., they will be participating in a motorcade that takes them all around Grand Cayman, with scheduled stops along the way.

They will leave the Lions Community Centre at 8:30am, and head west towards George Town, making their first stop at the Farmers’ Market. Then, they turn north, waving to fans along the Seven Mile strip, before stopping at the Cayman Turtle Centre.

After a brief interaction with visiting guests and the wildlife, it’s all-aboard for the journey to Bodden Town Guard House Hill and Grape Tree Cafe. That will be followed by the last two stops (Blow Holes in East End and the North Side Civic Centre), but not first without a sidestep for lunch at 1:30pm at Tukka Restaurant.
