Update: Missing teen located

Police confirmed today that 14-year-old Brianna Ebanks, who was reported missing on Friday, 19 Aug., has been located and returned to her place of residence, and appears to be in good health.

The RCIPS thanked the public for its help in the girl’s safe return.

The teen, police said, has been in contact with her family members, but has not been located by officers.

Police said, in a statement Tuesday afternoon, that the teenager was last seen at a business on Eastern Avenue on Friday morning, but did not attend an appointment later that day.

Police said Ebanks has a light brown complexion and brown eyes.

She is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with shoulder-length brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a short black knitted skirt, green top, gold slippers and a black Jansport bag.

Officers are encouraging Brianna to return home or attend the nearest police station immediately.
