Queen Elizabeth II knights Sir Vassel Johnson during her 1994 visit. The queen’s left arm is in a plaster cast and sling because she broke her wrist a few weeks earlier in a fall from a horse at her Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

Queen Elizabeth II made two royal tours to the Cayman Islands, in 1983 and in 1994.

Accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip, on 26-27 Feb. 1994, they visited Cayman – the fifth destination on an eight-stop Caribbean tour.
