If you’re from the UK, you’ll know it as a car boot sale. On this side of the world, it is often called a trunk sale.
Either way, if you have a vehicle and it’s got storage space, you can sign up for the Compass Media Trunk Sale on 5 Nov. from 6-10am. Why would you? Well, for starters, it’s a great way of selling items you no longer need for some extra cash. That’s a nice bonus before Christmas.
Secondly, it means not having to set up a garage sale at your home when eager beavers tend to show up well before your start time. Just pile it all in your car, drive to the Compass Media parking lot (which is huge, so lots of space), and wait for the punters to pull up.
Best of all, the pre-registration fee of $25 (or on-the-day registration fee of $30) goes to support Jasmine, the local non-profit that provides hospice services for terminally ill patients and vitally important support to their families.
So, if you are ready to do a house clean-out and want to make some moolah before the holidays, the Compass Media Trunk Sale is the way to go about it.
