Cayman’s artistic swimmers are building on their recent success at CCCAN – where the duo of Madison van Duynhoven and Allie Capasso won a bronze medal, the first-ever medal for Cayman Artistic Swimming at CCCAN – with four headed to the US Olympic Training Centre in Colorado Springs, Colorado, 12-19 Nov. for an artistic swimming camp.

The athletes – Madison van Duynhoven, Allie Capasso, and mixed duet athletes Azania Osborne and Dylan Lynee – accompanied by Coach Alissa Moberg Kinney, will join over 60 athletes from 25 countries at a training camp sponsored by USA Artistic Swimming and Panam Aquatics.

The athletes will learn the new competition rules with pool sessions twice a day and take part in gym training, choreography development, sports psychology and nutrition talks. Coaches for the camp include Bill May, pioneer for male artistic swimmers, and Andrea Fuentes, two-time Olympian for Spain and current US head coach.
