The Cayman Islands Mangrove Rangers will host a weekend of activities to celebrate the islands’ mangroves and to encourage people to get involved in protecting them.

The Cayman Mangrove Festival will be held from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, 29 July, at the courtyard of the Cayman Turtle Centre in West Bay.

Organisers promise a “fun-filled day of activities and mangroves”, and all are welcome.

There will be mangrove art from local artists and students on display, as well as storytelling, facepainting, learning stations, and more.

Entry is free, but donations are welcome.
