An infant was among the three people injured in a single-vehicle crash in North Side early yesterday morning, 7 Sept.
Just after 1:15am, police officers received a report of a collision on Frank Sound Road involving a white Kia Optima.
The vehicle was travelling southbound when it veered off the road, hitting a concrete post and a utility pole, according to a police press release.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and the occupants of the car – a man, woman and an infant – were taken to Cayman Islands Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
As of Thursday evening, the woman and infant remained in stable condition at the hospital while the man had been discharged.
The Compass has contacted the police for an update on the condition of the two who had been hospitalised, and is awaiting a response.
The police are investigating the incident.
