The annual Pink Ladies Christmas Bazaar, one of the longest running and beloved holiday traditions in Cayman, will be held this Saturday, 25 Nov., at the Arts and Recreation Centre in Camana Bay.

For four decades, the bazaar has been entertaining young and old with a stream of holiday entertainment, including the National Choir, high school jazz bands, Christmas tunes on violin, and tiny Bollywood dancers.

This year’s event will run from 2pm until 5pm, where, as well as the entertainment, tasty cakes and sandwiches will be served, and jams, preserves and holiday baking prepared by the Pink Ladies will be up for sale at the Country Kitchen.

The annual plant sale at the bazaar will be held again this year where some great bargains can be had.

There will also be a wide variety of craft items up for grabs, as well as raffle prizes and silent auction items.

The National Children’s Voluntary Organisation will have a white elephant sale table, and the Garden Club will have their plants for sale at very affordable prices.

And, of course, Santa will be making an appearance.

This is one of two fundraisers that the Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps sponsor every year, the other being their Fashion Show in the spring. Last year, the Pink Ladies gave away $45,000 to charities across the island with funds raised from these two events.

Admission tickets for $5 can be purchased at the door.
