Coco Fest

Coco Fest 2024 dedicates a day to the drupe.

Coco Fest has been celebrating the not-so-humble coconut since 2016 with a dedicated festival on the grounds of historic Pedro St. James.

The festival aims to preserve the coconut’s ties with Cayman culture and heritage, encourage residents to use the all-purpose drupe in their cooking and support local businesses that sell goods which utilise coconuts.

Visitors to Coco Fest can enjoy stalls with coconut-based edible items, as well as crafts, games, health and beauty products and more. There are also live demonstrations of how coconuts have been used in Cayman over the years as well as music to
entertain the crowds.

The festival runs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday,17 February. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12, and free for children under 5 years old.
