Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands – July 9th, 2024
Regenexx Cayman is thrilled to announce that world-renowned interventional orthopedic
specialist, Dr. Chris Williams, has joined the medical team as the first, permanent, Cayman-based, physician.
The addition of Dr. Williams signifies a major milestone for regenerative medicine in the
Cayman Islands. Whether dealing with sports injuries, chronic pain, or degenerative conditions, his full-time presence will provide residents with year-round access to advanced cellular based orthopedic care without the need to travel abroad or wait for a visiting specialist.
“Dr. Williams is a well-respected global expert in his field. He brings a wealth of
knowledge, experience, and passion to our clinic, significantly enhancing the year-round
options for non-surgical orthopedic care on Island.” says Jacqueline Ebanks, Caymanian
Healthcare Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Regenexx Cayman. “We’re delighted to
welcome Dr. Williams, his wife, Dr. Jaffree, and their three young children to Cayman.”
Dr. Williams’ patient-centric approach not only treats the condition, but also addresses the
overall well-being of the individual, natural healing, and long-term health. This aligns with
Regenexx Cayman’s mission to deliver world-class medical services with the highest standard of care, right here in Grand Cayman.
“I’m passionate about the field of Interventional Orthopedics because it allows me to help
bridge the gap between non-surgical and surgical care of orthopedic injuries,” says Dr.
Williams.

“Many patients are looking for options that not only allow them a quicker recovery to
sport or normal activities, but they are also looking for medical providers that address
orthopedic injuries from a functional standpoint. We consider the person as a whole and
always see how multiple things, such as biomechanics and nutrition, can be impacting
an injury, performance, or daily activities.”
Dr. Williams received his Doctor of Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine and is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. After completing a fellowship at the Centeno-Schultz Clinic (a global leader in Orthopedics and Regenerative Medicine), he founded Interventional Orthopedics of Atlanta and has been a visiting specialist at Regenexx Cayman since 2018.
With an impressive educational background, Dr. Williams has a passion for continuous learning, having contributed to 15 research publications and multiple textbooks, including his Amazon best-selling books, Exercise 2.0: Optimizing Functional Performance and Longevity Throughout the Lifespan and Atlas of Interventional Orthopedics Procedures: Essential Guide for Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound Guided Procedures.
“He really looks to combine cutting-edge technology with personalized patient care, and
that’s why we’re so thrilled to have him here full-time. During his time as a visiting
specialist, we’ve observed his expertise and interest in innovation of treatments,
proficiency in technique, and more importantly, his emphasis on helping patients
optimize their outcomes to improve their quality of life. This really positions us at the
forefront of non-surgical orthopedic care in the Caribbean region,” shares Regenexx
Cayman Co-Founder, Phillip Ebanks.
Regenexx Cayman is the exclusive provider of Regenexx-C, globally. Those looking for expert medical guidance on non-surgical orthopedic intervention are encouraged to contact the Regenexx Cayman team, as Dr. Williams is available for consultations and appointments.
