Guests enjoyed tasting more than 100 wines, spirits and beers at Cayman Wine Fest’s Signature Wine and Spirits Experience last Saturday.

Many of the products were new to the Cayman Islands and exclusive to the organisers, Tortuga Fine Wines and Spirits, and ranged from prosecco to rose, red and white wines, rum, tequila, beer and alcohol-free drinks.

A portion of proceeds from each ticket sold benefited the Cayman Heart Foundation.

The evening included unlimited wines, spirits, cocktails, food stations and live music entertainment.

Notable favourites with attendees were Harvey & Harriet and My Favourite Neighbour wines from Paso Robles, California, Mionetto prosecco and Komos tequila.

Mionetto also introduced their new range of ‘alcohol-removed’ prosecco and spritz at the event.

To go alongside the alcohol was a large hot and cold buffet, including whole snapper, pork and chicken tacos, salads and charcuterie, and diners were serenaded with live music from saxophonist Alejandro Lemus.

The event was part of the annual Cayman Wine Fest, which was held over five days, from 9-13 Oct.
