Capella returns to Festival Green, Camana Bay for its fourth instalment this year, bringing a host of talented international and local performers and DJs.
The one-day music festival will take place on Saturday, 29 March, from 12pm-midnight, delivering a diverse array of talent on three stages – the Capella Main Stage, the high energy Supernova Sound Stage, and the retro Studio 54 Stage.
This year’s line-up includes Ashanti, Clean Bandit, Gramps Morgan, Ky-Mani Marley, Alaine, Naliah Blackman, and DJ Puffy.
Set times will be posted on capellamusicfestival.com in the run-up to the festival.
Previous years have been a tremendous success, bringing international stars such as Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley, UB40, Leanne Rimes, Wyclef Jean, and Maxi Priest to Cayman’s stage.
Capella Star
Each year the festival also provides the chance for Caymanian musicians, whether established or up-and-coming, to perform alongside the international stars, showcasing the depth of local talent.
As well as a cash prize, two main stage spots are available for Caymanian winners of the Capella Star Talent Search competition, while residents can vie for a spot in the Supernova Tent.

Ky-Mani Marley
Grammy-nominated Ky-Mani Marley is a Jamaican reggae musician, and member of the Marley dynasty. His newest single, ‘Love & Energy’ features Iba MaHr and Lutan Fyah and is the title track for his upcoming album.
Alaine
Singer, songwriter and actress Alaine has collaborated with many notables reggae artists such as Shaggy, Beres Hammond, Beenie Man, Buju Banton and Tarrus Riley. Her most recent releases are ‘One of One’, ‘Pile Up’, and ‘Never Fail’.
Naliah Blackman
Nailah Blackman is known for her unique style across a range of genres, although she is most associated with soca. She was nominated for the Viewers’ Choice: Best New International Act award at the BET Awards. Popular songs include ‘Runaway Train’, ‘Workout’ (with Kes), ‘O’ Laws Oye’, ‘’Sokah, and ‘Banish’ featuring Shenseea.
DJ Puffy
Award-winning international DJ Puffy became the Redbull Music 3Style World Champion in 2016 and has been taking the DJ world by storm ever since. Singles include ‘Frenchie’’, Brick by Brick’, and ‘Big Bad Ting Riddim’.
