Night on Olympus Gala to Support Palliative Care in the Cayman Islands
Grand Cayman, March 31, 2025 – Jasmine Palliative & Hospice Care, the only dedicated palliative and hospice care organisation in the Cayman Islands, will be holding its highly anticipated annual Big Bash gala on Friday, April 11 at Ristorante Pappagallo.
This year’s theme, Night on Olympus, will transport guests to the heights of Mount Olympus for an unforgettable evening of myth, magic, and majesty. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a welcome drink before enjoying a delicious four-course meal created especially for Big Bash by Pappagallo’s chef, Alex Menegon, and dancing until midnight. The dress code for the evening is “Celestial Couture,” channelling ethereal and godly glamour.

“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our community,” said Sophie Munden, Fundraising Manager at Jasmine. “Big Bash is so much fun. It’s quite unique among our fundraisers in that there are no speeches or auctions. Guests love to embrace the theme, and the outfits get more impressive every year. The best bit is that, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, every ticket sold goes directly towards supporting someone in the community who has been diagnosed with a serious illness.”

As a non-profit, Jasmine relies on the generosity of donors, sponsors, and event guests to fund its critical programs, which include home care, in-patient services, bereavement support, and public education initiatives. With growing demand for palliative care in the Cayman Islands, the success of fundraising events like Big Bash is more important than ever. This year’s Big Bash was made possible thanks to the support of McCormick, Mourant, Massive, Davenport, Reside Cayman, Ristorante Pappagallo, Caribbean Gourmet, Anne & Grant Stein, the Watkins Family, Partybooth, and a sponsorship made in memory of Flick Brooks.
Tickets are vanishing faster than Zeus’ lightning with only a handful of tables remaining. To secure your spot, email [email protected]. Tickets are CI$300, inclusive of all food, drink, and valet parking.
