Man charged with causing death of cyclist Per Undheim last Easter

A man has been charged over the death of cyclist Per Undheim, who was knocked down while on an early morning bike ride with a friend last Easter Monday.

Physiotherapist and married father-of-two Per Undheim, 39, died after being struck by a car near Lake Destiny Drive in Bodden Town just after 6am on 21 April 2025.

Anthony Devin Berry Jr., 34, from Bodden Town was later arrested in relation to the fatal collision. He has now been formally charged with causing death by dangerous driving, driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol thereby causing death, and dangerous driving.

Berry appeared in court on 25 March and has been bailed pending a further appearance on Thursday, 2 April.
