Government plans to proceed with a 10-mile extension of the East-West Arterial Highway from next year, according to Infrastructure Minister Joey Hew.

Local contractors will be given priority as developer Ironwood prepares to break ground on its multi-million dollar Arnold Palmer golf course and resort in the eastern districts.
