Topic: Cayman Islands National Robotics Team

A weekend of innovation, teamwork and technical creativity highlighted the growing impact of robotics education in the Cayman Islands, as the Dart Minds Inspired programme hosted two interschool competitions that brought together more than 160 students from 19 public and private schools across the islands.

The Cayman Islands National Robotics Team achieved its highest placement to date at the 2025 FIRST Global Challenge in Panama, finishing 34th out of 191 national teams.

The Cayman Islands National Robotics Team will take part in the international robotics competition, FIRST Global Challenge, along with more than 190 other countries.

After years of finetuning, reprogramming and debugging their robots, Isaiah Myles and his John Gray Technology teammates managed to secure first place at the annual Minds Inspired Robotics First Tech Challenge.
