Students of master Ronald Simpson’s Cayman Taekwondo Academy earned 13 medals at the 2024 Toronto Open Taekwondo Championships, held earlier this month.

Trying to duplicate the success of 2023, the Cayman Islands Taekwondo Academy has already lined up three back-to-back tournaments to kick-start the year.

Despite being battered and bruised, Cayman’s Taekwondo black belt Dylan Simpson kicked his way to two gold medals at the 2023 GTA Cup.

Members from the nascent Cayman Islands Taekwondo Academy experienced another thrilling accomplishment last month, when they starred in an international tournament in Honduras.
