A man and a woman who broke Cayman's COVID-19 quarantine regulations, by eating lunch too closely together, while the man was quarantining at his home, have both received suspended prison sentences.

Premier Wayne Panton, on Friday, is expected to announce new changes to the remaining COVID-19 regulations, a Government Information Services notice has said.

From 30 June, travellers to the Cayman Islands will no longer be required to provide a pre-arrival COVID-19 test and a mandated requirement to wear masks in indoor public areas will be lifted, according to new regulations released by government Friday evening.
