After five days of battling the winds in Rio’s harbor, Cayman’s Olympic sailor Florence Allan finished the week in 36th place. Allan said she enjoyed competing against the best in the world even though the weather got the better of her.

Thursday was a rest day for Cayman’s Olympic sailor Florence Allan, who has been battling through this week’s preliminary Laser Radial races.

Florence Allan did not complete finish either of her two Laser Radial races Wednesday in the allowed time, leading to a DNF or “Did Not Finish” rating.

Teenage sailor Florence Allan moved to 35th in the overall standings at the Rio Olympics after an improved day on the water Tuesday.
