Olympic and World champions Asafa Powell of Jamaica and LaShawn Merritt of U.S. will headline the sixth staging of the Cayman Invitational, which is set for Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.
Cayman’s Walton reaches 400m semis at world championships
Jamal Walton, Cayman Islands’ only athlete in the IAAF world championships in London, finished fourth in his semifinal heat of the Men’s 400-meters on Sunday. Overall, he finished midway through the field of 24 competitors.
