The annual national Pirates Week festival this November will mark the return of its long-standing heritage days on the 2024 calendar.

Cayman’s national festival runs from 3 to 26 Nov. on all three islands, with the main event – Pirates Week – taking place over two weekends on Grand Cayman from 9 to 19 Nov.

The final weekend of Pirates Fest brought the trial of the pirates, an underwater treasure hunt, a pooch parade, street parties and fireworks.

The RCIPS is advising that road closures will be in place in George Town to facilitate Pirates Fest activities this weekend.

Cayman’s culture and heritage takes centre stage for five weeks in the run up to the main Pirates Week festivities, with a series of district heritage days all over Grand Cayman.
