Swimmer Raya Embury-Brown this weekend will attempt to swim 10 kilometres across the North Sound in honour of her late father, Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Brown.  

Cayman is poised to take its place in the starting blocks on a world stage. Four swimmers – veterans Lauren Hew and Brett Fraser and newcomers Jordan Crooks and Raya Embury-Brown – will comprise Cayman’s team at the 18th annual FINA Swimming World Championships in Gwangju, South Korea.

More than 130 youngsters took part in Cayman’s national youth swimming championships over the weekend.

Young swimmers from Cayman spent the weekend competing in the Union Americana de Natacion (UANA) Swimming Cup championships in Coral Springs, Florida.
