Santa Claus came to George Town at the weekend and delighted hundreds of children who queued to see the festive season's main man

The green light has been given for Santa Claus to touch down in the Cayman Islands, Governor Martyn Roper confirmed Wednesday evening.

Santa Claus arrived on Saturday on a big red fire truck with lights flashing and siren going to the delight of children waiting to greet him at the Airport Park.

There were plenty of Santa Claus sightings on Sunday morning as runners and walkers donned red-and-white suits and hats to take part in the Camana Bay Santa Run.
