The 10th Annual Cayman Islands Cancer Society walk / run is scheduled for Sunday, January 16th, 2005. The theme is ‘Walk The Road To Recovery’ symbolizing the cancer journey as well as a community rebuilding from Hurricane Ivan.
The walk is a non-competitive event and everyone is encouraged to participate. Participants can choose their distance as well as whether to walk or run. The suggested distances are 13.1 miles with a recommended start time of 6am or 6 miles with a recommended start time of 7am. All the proceeds from this event go to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society to support its services and programs that it offers to the community.

The coordinator can then contact the Society with the names of the registrants and their preferred shirt size and the Society will deliver the ‘goodie’ bags to the workplace.
Registration will also be taking place at various sites around Grand Cayman starting January 4th.
Registration forms can be downloaded from our website www.cics.ky along with details of registration times and locations.
All registrants including those who register through their workplace that are received before Friday, January 7th will be entered in an Early Bird prize draw of a return ticket to Miami or Fort Lauderdale donated by Cayman Airways.
