The National Recovery Fund has received another hefty donation to aid in post-Ivan rebuilding.
On Tuesday, the Governor, Mr Bruce Dinwiddy, was present with a cheque in the amount of $100,000 at the Appleby Spurling offices, Tuesday.
At a recent Board meeting Mr. Cullum McAlpine, representing the McAlpine family shareholders offered their assistance with the donation.
According to McAlpine, the Company fully supports the National Recovery Fund, both through its assistance to needy home owners and through its appraisals of the contractors required to carry out the repair work.
McAlpine has assisted Government in post-Ivan rebuilding by concentrating a major part of its resources at the George Hicks High School and the old Hospital Buildings and various clinics.
