Mr. Tony Crombie, head of the Foreign and Commonwealth’s Overseas Territories Department, arrived Saturday on a familiarisation visit.
Mr. Crombie is the chief adviser to UK ministers on all issues relevant to the OTs. Among subjects on a wide-ranging agenda, he will be reviewing progress in the recovery from Hurricane Ivan.
He will be meeting with a broad range of Government ministers and officials, including Members of the Legislative Assembly, as well as with business and community leaders. His itinerary will include a tour of Grand Cayman.
He departs for London this evening.
